Stripewaves Global Mixes 1,2,3

Just wanted to let people know about Stripewaves Global, a selection of 40min ( in or around ) mixes being done exclusively for Stripewaves by some of the most interesting cats in the underground Dubstep scene.

Our overall aim is to get a mix from one producer from every country in the world. Big target, but it should be an interesting experience.

Currently have 3 mixes in the bag and they can all be found for DL on Soundcloud. Personally i am amped for this entire project, the three mixes in the bag so far have far surpassed what we hoped to achieve this early in the game. 4 and 5 are currently under construction and are promising to be a little bit special as well.

Global 03 - Nicron(Hungary) - Nicron spends the first half of his Global Mix reveling in the joys of intricate percussive work, delicate atmospheres and subtle tones before busting out some bass flex and dragging things down darker paths. Opening track "Hold your heart up to the light" by Sigha is a glorious piece of work and it continues in that vein throughout.

This mix was done on the decks, cutting through the guts of 20 songs in 40 mins and was all done in one take to boot, you can practically hear the sweat hitting the vinyl!
